The Wider Curriculum

 

 We are continually reviewing and refining our BG Excellent Curriculum by BG.  

 

Each curriculum subject is led by a teacher in school, who completes an annual action plan and curriculum documentation.  We deliver the wider curriculum by subject and this is enriched with visits out of school, virtual visits and visitors into school.

 

Please speak to your child's class teacher for details of their current learning.

 

Below you will find various documents that contain information about how our curriculum is delivered.

Curriculum Sequence Documents

The Sequence Documents detail a basic outline of the sequence of learning and knowledge acquisition for each unit in the Long Term Overview and includes the defined, non-negotiable knowledge to be acquired through each unit. These are based on the statutory requirements of the national curriculum and EYFS frameworks as well as the the Locally agreed syllabus for RE and materials from the PSHE Association.
